Hensley's signature style features crisp, bold, comic-art illustrations that bring his passion for zombies, monsters and gore to life and carry a distinct sense of nostalgia for the rebellion and invincibility of childhood. In his most recent designs, Hensley pays homage to the monsters of his past, by offering a contemporary twist on the movies, books and television that fueled his earliest artistic inspirations, including classics and contemporaries, ranging from Nightmare on Elm Street, Garbage Pail Kids, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Ghostbusters, to Where The Wild Things Are, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, and Rocko's Modern life. In addition to his freelance solo artistic endeavors, which include unique pieces such as as hand-inked prints, one-of-a-kind skate board decks, hand cut stickers and limited edition apparel, Hensley also designs and co-owns a clothing line, Inspire & Infect, and creates custom merchandise designs for a wide variety of bands including We Came As Romans, Mayday Parade, The Ready Set, Sleeping With Sirens, Close To Home, Pilot Around the Stars, Set It Off, Hello Astronaut, The Paramedic, The Right Coast, and many more!
